What this role actually involves

Company Board Assistant is a combined mega notification: the Kerala PSC fills hundreds of administrative vacancies across major state PSUs and statutory boards on one rank list. Candidates do not choose their organisation; placement follows vacancy reporting and rotation across all 14 districts of Kerala.

Selection runs across two stages: a qualifying common prelims and a 100 mark mains that determines the final rank entirely on its own.

  • General Knowledge and Core Awareness50 Marks

    History, geography, and economics; Indian Constitution and Kerala governance; sciences, arts, culture, and sports.

  • Technical and Office Core Topics8 to 10 Marks

    Basics of computers and IT, office management, the RTI Act, the Information Technology Act 2000.

  • Language Aptitude and Current Events40 Marks

    Current affairs, simple arithmetic and mental ability, general English, regional language.
